How a clear pays

Row
10 for the row itself, every time.
Face value
Twice the value of every tile standing in the row. Winds, dragons and flowers count five, a joker twenty.
Pung
Three of a kind pays 50.
Kong
Four of a kind pays 120.
Quint
Five of a kind pays 250.
Sextet
Six of a kind pays 450.
Run
Consecutive numbers, three or more, pays 60 and up.
Groups stack
A row holding a pung and a run pays for both.
Jokers
A joker stands in for a tile in a pung, kong, quint or sextet. It never joins a run, and never stands alone.
Flowers
The four blooms substitute for one another, so three different flowers still make a pung.

Your best run total so far is 0.

About Mahjong Drop

Mahjong Drop is a falling-block game where every piece is one suit. Clear a row and it pays face value plus a group bonus, from pung through sextet.

Ten timed levels keep the pressure on while you read runs and groups as they fall. It is a fast way to internalize how American mahjong groups score.
